Parrot Valley Rescue rehab and adoption is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to teaching current and potential bird owners proper physical and psychological care of their pet birds.

Unwanted and found parrots are accepted at Parrot Valley Rescue, and in turn are adopted to qualified applicants. Our aim is sharing current information and correcting misconceptions about parrots.

Our goal is to keep abreast of the latest developments in the world of aviculture and share them with the community. We have been a parrot rescue for almost 8 years. Our birds love to visit schools, clubs, nursing homes and other organizations.

We had a large facility where the birds were housed for 5 yrs but after successfully adopting out every last bird, we now work out of foster homes. We have had over 160 birds at one time and one by one they were all adopted to their forever homes.

We have found that having the rescue birds in foster homes, we are better able to assess their temperaments which aids in the decision of their permanent placement.

Many have forgotten this truth but you must not forget it. You remain responsible, forever for what you have tamed." Antoine de Saint-Exupery
